FREE Music!

Free, that's how it should always be with music. I've been feeling like such a hypocrite posting my music to sell for a profit. Two reasons, one it really limits how many people it will actually reach and spread what they hear and two, it should be free! In the past the only reason it was setup in a charging module is because it was the only effective way to monitor it's download habits.

That's no longer the case. I found a service to keep track of downloads and offer the music for free. I'm not trying to get rich quick with my music, that's far beyond my intentions. I have a great career and I love what I do for a living. Music is and has always been a passion and the only way to share that with everyone is freely! It's always been about the experience and getting as many people as possible to listen to my tracks. The Creative Commons license has come a long way and it finally fits my needs perfectly.

Now with that I'll point you in the direction of up. Up there you will see a link that says "Music". Now I hate to spoil it to everyone, but it basically leads you to where you can download my latest tracks and EP for FREE! Or you can click here. You may also use this link if you're feeling like you're in the giving mood. I mean it's the holidays and all! http://onlifesupport.bandcamp.com

Included in the free downloads is the "Read the Fine Print" EP released early last year. So what are you waiting for?!

All I ask in return is an email address, which I promise not to spam, sell or any other evil things. Just basically to keep track of who's listening and keeping you up-to-date. If you feel that to be too much of a burden there's always going to be an easy "unsubscribe" button underneath all emails. Lastly I just ask that you share this music with as many people as you can and link them back here. Like I've said before, there's no get rich quick scheme on my part, just looking for as much feedback and listens as possible.

Hey Dannie, I listened to all of your tracks via bandcamp. Very nicely produced. I'm more of a rock guitar instrumental person. Still, your tracks managed to keep my attention. "Denton" is my favourite because I think among all the tracks, it's the most melodic of all. Next favourite was "The Truth" because of the piano melodies, though personally (I emphasise it's a personal taste) I would've preferred a different sort of bass and less of a drum machine sound.

BTW, like you I've a day job and music is just a catharsis. And like you, I offer my music for free. Though in truth I'm always hoping some people would pay a token sum on a voluntary basis, LOL. Still, the whole point is to share something the music that I would have produced anyway. And yeah, Creative Commons is great isn't it? BTW, check out ccMixter.org if you have time. It's a great place to find CC works to remix, and to share samples that others might build upon. If you pop by there one day, search "ramblinglibrarian" and you should find me. Cheers.
